GOALS

  1. To uphold the Constitution of the United States and the State of Connecticut.

  2. To provide citizen participation in law enforcement in an effort to reduce victimization and fear within our State.

  3. To promote the arts and sciences of police service and educate members and the public in the advancement and improvement of police administration and crime prevention.

  4. To establish standards of professional conduct.

  5. To provide opportunity for the exchange of experiences and opinions through discussion, study and publications.

  6. To conduct and cooperate in courses of study for the benefit of individuals desiring to prepare themselves for executive and administrative functions in the law enforcement field.

  7. To acquire, preserve, and disseminate to any interested parties information relative to the functions and  accomplishments of the law enforcement agencies.

  8. To promote the interests of law enforcement agencies and their executives in community and government affairs.

  9. To undertake any other functions consistent with the Association Bylaws which will further advance the usefulness of this Association to it's members.
