CPCA communicates your views and interests to allied professions,
federal and state agencies, legislators at the state and
national level, and the community at large.
Legislative Watch
We monitor and actively lobby the Connecticut General
Assembly on law enforcement issues, so you will know when
important legislative bills are pending at the State Capitol.
Quarterly Luncheon Meetings
We invite expert speakers on topics of importance to the
law enforcement community.
The Association Newsletter
The CPCA Hotline gives our members law enforcement
news, legislative updates, committee actions, and training
opportunities. It is published four times a year.
Connecticut Police Chief Magazine
Published three times a year, the magazine publishes informational
articles for the law enforcement community.
Police Product Expo
Each year in April, we give you the opportunity to meet
with exhibitors who provide police products and services.
Membership Roster
Listing of all member chiefs of police and contact information.
Municipal Services
CPCA provides administration of the intoximeter maintenance
and repair program. The Police Chief Selection Committee
assists municipalities in filling vacancies.
Scholarships to Police Officers
Each year several scholarships are awarded, reflecting
your interests in promoting criminal justice higher education.
Professional Staff
Full time staff members are available to answer your questions
about the Association and law enforcement issues.
